How to Update Your Preferred Name
You can update your preferred name at any time via the Rula patient portal. This name will be used in Rula messaging and by your provider.
- Log into the Rula patient portal
- Navigate to the Profile tab
- Click Edit on the Personal details tile
- Update your Preferred First Name
- Click Save
How to Update Legal Name, Email, or Birthdate
For security and billing accuracy, these fields cannot be updated manually in the portal. A Support Team member must process these changes for you.
