Rula does not prescribe any opioid medications
Rula does not prescribe any opioid medications, including the following:
- Morphine: MS Contin, Roxanol, Kadian, Avinza
- Methadone: Dolophine, Methadose
- Fentanyl: Duragesic, Sublimaze, Actiq
- Tramadol: Ultram, ConZip
- Hydrocodone: Zohydro ER, Hysingla ER, Vicodin, Norco, Lortab (with acetaminophen)
- Codeine: Tylenol with Codeine (combination)
- Hydromorphone: Dilaudid, Exalgo
- Tapentadol: Nucynta
- Oxymorphone: Opana, Opana ER
- Oxycodone: OxyContin, Roxicodone, Percocet (with acetaminophen)
- Buprenorphine/Naloxone: Suboxone
Rula does not offer Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
In addition to not prescribing any opioid medications, Rula also does not currently offer Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) substance use disorders.
What is MAT? Medication-assisted treatment is the use of FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Tthis includes suboxone, methadone and naltrexone. However, Rula does use naltrexone in its oral form to help patients struggling with alcohol use disorder.
