Making a payment

AdvancedMD is an electronic medical record for providers that contract with Rula and their patients. This article covers the steps to make a manual payment in the AdvancedMD patient portal to pay your outstanding balance.

Guided steps

All Rula patients can make payments via the AdvancedMD patient portal. To pay your bill via the AdvancedMD patient portal, follow the steps below. 

  1. Log into the AdvancedMD patient portal.
  2. Click the dollar sign button on the bottom lefthand side of the landing page, labeled Pay My Bill.

    • Or, click the wallet icon at the top labeled Bills.

  3. You can pay your:
    • Total Balance
    • Statement Balance

    • Other Amount (you enter a custom amount)

  4. After selecting one of the three options, click Make Payment.
  5. Enter in Card Details and Billing Information.
    • Credit Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV

    • Name on Card, Billing Address

  6. Click Make Payment.
