Adding a new care type in the patient portal

You can now expand your care team directly from the Rula patient portal. This article provides guided steps to add a new care type to your account.

Guided Steps

  1. Log into the Rula provider portal
  2. Go to the Care Team page

  3. Look to the top right of the screen, and click Add Care Type 
  4. A pop-up will display the available care types you can add
    • Note: Some care types are not available in all states, such as psychiatry. You will only be shown care types that are available in your state.

  5. Select the care type you are looking to add

  6. You'll be shown a list of providers to choose from for their selected care type.

  7. Once you have selected a provider, you will be able to book an appointment if the provider has available slots.

  8. Once the appointment has been scheduled, you will see the provider appear on your Care Team page.
